On Thursday, January the 11th I made a Journal entry I would love to share with you below:
This is life in His name and proclaiming His great name. Today, not much I had in mind to do was accomplished but towards the end, a connection by phone sparked much needed conversation surrounding an upcoming project and the work and commitment it will require to be successful in this industry. Mom brought to my attention recently a thought provoking notion, “It is not your hobby that will make room for you, it is your gift.” So, I have pondered what that really means. What is my gift? What is your gift?
According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, A gift is defined as:
: a notable capacity, talent, or endowment
: something voluntarily transferred by one person to another without compensation
: the act, right, or power of giving
After much evaluation and thought on the value of a gift in its many facets, I am led to ask introspectively, am I using all my gifts to the Glory of Christ? Am I mastering and perfecting that which the Lord has given me or am I simply just using this gift or maintaining it?
I encourage others to live to their full potential, but am I taking that advice personally and living it? If not, how can I take action and move forward to align myself with the vision and mission of Christ’s plan for me and my family’s life? Some of you may know, this past holiday, my hubby and I released our first single written and produced by a dear friend of ours, Donnie Gholson. He had a desire to make this dream a reality for a while now and it finally happened. Visit the site with our music here & purchase this amazing project! We appreciate the incredibly encouraging feedback we have received so far from buyers, fans and supporters on how this single has blessed you! :*
On your way to making your dreams a reality, it is most rewarding to help others make their dreams come true. I don’t know what it is about turning a year older and wiser at a time when everyone is reminiscing and making resolutions (If that even happens anymore!) I can’t help but reflect and share your “Latter will be greater if you subscribe to greater in 2018.”
Choose to walk in purpose and surround yourself with those seeking greater purpose. Help others reach their goals, dream big dreams and take the steps it will take to get there with the help of the Lord. As a great friend recently reminded me, “Do not be discouraged…” when you hit a wall of disappointment, maybe experience a lack of support, slow success, fear and doubt which we all deal with. Remain consistent, keep growing and moving forward as you reach back to help others along the way. Choose to have the right people walk alongside you on the journey and most importantly trust God.
There are resources all around us and I am grateful for the ones God has sent my way so we can bless each other and help each other get there. I am ecstatic about the future and what it holds, simply because He lives and you are a part of it.
Featured on this entry are some key people who have worked diligently to make some major dreams happen:
The one and only Jennifer Mina-Photography
The one and only Jon-Joseph Nepaul-Composer and Producer for current EP Album to be released early spring.
The one and only Joshua Zant-Husband and constant supporter.
Love you all with greater purpose and prayer <3 It’s our year to live life colorfully and make our mark in a radiant way!

Hello Radiant Pearl!
Thank you ever so kindly for joining me here today where I am overflowing with updates for you!
Today is special for many reasons, it is the day we go Christmas Caroling with my beautiful sisters, family and some lovely international students who will experience their first ever Christmas here in the U.S. It’s time to pull out the Caroling folders that guide us this glorious season of the year! There are only five days till Christmas Day! I have a few things I would love to share with you as we continue to prepare for many exciting ventures on the way, some include home preparations, DIY Projects, gift wrapping and giving, entertainment and family hosting before travels for the holiday.
The primary reason for this post is to share some of the marvelous resources at our finger tips with the hope that it will inspire you to enjoy some projects of your own in your home. However, this turned out to be post filled with many delightful things because it has been so long since letters from my heart has been shared with you, my lovely readers.
There is something hopeful, therapeutic daring about making a dream a reality with your hands. Here’s the main thing: Our home was a model home when we bought it, which means it came with all the standard fixtures that I would refer to as basic. Safe colors and window treatments to get away with not having to decorate or establish a budget for that very purpose as a new couple.
See, my hubby bought this home as a gift after we viewed multiple houses while courting. We got engaged in this house! Four-five years later I got the serious itch to decorate and truly make it mine in every way.
My lovely interior designer and creative sisters know it takes “mula” money to decorate! However, I have lived the dream that you can decorate lavishly to your liking without spending loads of money. How does one do such a thing? I am glad you asked 😉 Through the wonderful of DIYs, making the old things you already have or have inherited new. Here are a few DIY pieces in my home before and after to match the color scheme I had in mind for my home. Today I will show you the materials used for my most recent piece featuring a few gifts to cherish and share this season. I hope and pray it will encourage you to use what you have radiantly, make the old things new! Between bargain shopping at your local antique or Real Life store, Home Goods, Tuesday Morning, Hobby Lobby, Ross and online, you can find everything you want and need at a bargain or simply make it yours this holiday season of entertaining and fun!

You can see a small part of the little treasure chest that sparked my DIY repurpose adventure. Completed with a dear lady friend who specializes in “Beautiful Homes” I look forward to showing you before and after pictures of this little chest that sat in my home without a care in the world for quite some time until I decided it was time to do something about it’s wretched state! 🙂
